What many people do not know is that on top of the World Trade Center lighting the famous antenna tower, were Kliegl Bros. Beam Projectors. These specially made weatherproof units were 22" Round, 19" deep, with an 18" reflector, they used a GE Multy Vapor MVR1500 watt bulb, these lights perished along with the towers and all those lost on September 11th, 2001.  The original demonstration model was packed away at the Kliegl factory, and then kept by one of the owners until it was purchased in 2003 by Eric H. Silverman, one of the webmasters of this site, On September 11th, 2011, to mark the tenth anniversary of the loss, this remaining light will be used to light the American Flag  in front of my house in Yardley, Pa

The Flag will be lit from 8:00pm September 11th, until midnight in remembrance of those lost.
